So while the world hasn’t really ended, yesterday, the nation’s Capitol was stormed. I nkow a lot of people are surprised, but I’m not sure why. There’s a lot I could say about the politics, but the events of the last four years have led us to where we are. While shocking, I think what didn’t happen that saddens me.
It’s sad that the response to BLM was so much harsher, It was sad to see these people could do without being shot or arrested or otherwise really harmed. Now, days later, they are facing consequences – lost jobs, arrests, and more. But, the only thing I can be grateful for is that my son is too young to see what has happened and to ask questions, I wouldn’t even know where to begin to explain.
