Ever heard of the Asian squat? Apparently, it’s a squatting position where your heels are flat on the ground, and something that Asians naturally do. I hadn’t realized it until I saw this video “Can you do the Asian squat?” and immediately went to my white hubs (though he was still my boyfriend at the time) and asked “hey, how do you squat?” After a side eye at me, he showed me – his heels were up! And apparently, trying to make his heels flat made him fall over.
Supposedly, the Asian squat helps line things up better (for bowel movements) and is better for you overall. Who knows, but definitely go try it. Better yet, go get someone else to try it and get a laugh if/when they fall over! I was just reminded of it when my husband suddenly yelled out the other day, “Goob (our baby) can Asian squat!”
