So one of my hobbies is reading. These days, I mainly read romances since I use books as a way to escape the stress and drama in life – and I want a happy ending damn it!
It’s hard for me to find authors though that have characters that won’t annoy me. I want a strong female lead, damn it! Not someone who seems silly or stupid (though they can start a little bit that way, they need to grow) or randomly does something just to have drama in the book or for the male lead to save them. Probably because I was never one of those girls who loved Cinderella or some of the other Disney princesses.
My all time favorite is Mariana Zapata, but some of my very close runner ups are Layla Frost, RL Mathewson, Sara Ney, Aurora Rose Reynolds, Natasha Madison, and CM Owen. I can always reread any of their books, but I keep hoping to find new authors like them!
