Not sure about everybody else, but I feel like I’m constantly building something for my baby. We did get a lot of hand me downs, which was great and a huge moneysaver. BUT, it did sometimes mean putting things together without instructions. Like a baby swing…luckily I was able to find a manual online, but you still gotta figure out which steps are already done and what steps you need to do.
Before the baby was born, it was building cribs and baby swings and figuring out how to fold up the stroller. After the baby was born, some of the toys required basic assembly, like the activity table. Recently, my latest project was to put together his 4-in-1 trike.

Honestly, when did kids’ toys get so fancy? This is made to grow with the baby, so it starts out with safety belts and a handle so the parent can push the toddler. Then, as they get older, you can remove pieces until it just becomes a regular tricycle. Not bad, Radio Flyer, not bad – though I still think of red wagons when I hear Radio Flyer.
Wasn’t too bad honestly, and was able to do most of it myself, except for a step or two where I asked the hubs to borrow his strength.

How’d the Goob like it? Well..he finds it more fun to push/pull it around while standing next to it and spinning the pedals than sitting in it. Oh well…hopefully, he’ll feel differently once he can pedal!
