So I got tired of baking and eating cookies and decided to attempt brownies. I was between two recipes, but then decided to go with Brooke’s Best Bombshell Brownies. I also found this recipe for brownie frosting to try.
Result? Could be better, though I don’t think it’s due to any fault of the recipe. I think I slightly overcooked it, and the edges are slightly crisp. The frosting is super sweet and delicious, but I need to keep a good eye on it – a lot of the reviews mentioned making sure that it’s at a boil and to be exact about that. Exactness while baking is not my strong suit.
I will say – seeing what goes in to desserts does make me hesitate about eating them for a while… Worth making again though, once I’m over the sugar rush of finishing this pan of brownies!
